Costa Rodis, Computer Consulting

| Costa Rodis Computer Consulting Celebrates 20th Anniversary. By Anne Marie Church In a field not exactly known for the longevity of its participants, Costa Rodis Computer Consulting stands out in bold relief. This year, the firm celebrates its 20th anniversary ‘in the business.’ With an impressive listing of services provided, including computer repair, security, network development and maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and training (he has trained thousands of people), Costa Rodis is well-positioned to be a solid resource for these essential activities. Another aspect that sets Costa’s business apart is his talent for customizing computer set-ups for his clients’ individual needs. Not only does this work to keep a lid on costs by providing what is actually needed, it also introduces a practical efficiency to the computer operating process. We can’t operate our businesses without our computers. Costa Rodis knows this, and, since 1986, he’s there to make sure we are always open for business. |

Year ‘Round Chiropractic Care: Because It Just Makes Sense. By Anne Marie Church.
Dr. Michael Stewart, Chiropractor, is a true believer in what he does. He’s passionate in his quest to communicate the role chiropractic care plays in helping his patients feel their best. |
| One of Dr. Stewart’s favorite analogies is that of the dentist. We all go to the dentist to take care of our teeth, and these days, we can even have teeth replaced. Chiropractic, similarly, treats the nervous system to assure optimum functioning for the entire body. Here the similarity ends, though, because, of course, the spine--literally the nerve center of the body--cannot be replaced. Regularly scheduled chiropractic care at Dr. Stewart’s Glen Rock office treats the results of everyday spinal stress. Along with adequate rest, nutrition, and exercise, it is key to the proper functioning of all the body’s systems. A body in this optimum state is better able to fight off the invasion of pathogenic diseases, infections, neurological problems, and biochemical imbalances. Dr. Stewart’s other favorite analogy for chiropractic is that of Star Trek’s engineer, ‘Scotty,’ whose main charge was to make sure the Starship Enterprise maximized the efficiency of its operation. ‘Beam me up to better spinal health!’ |

Ramapo Graphics, or “The Little Print Brokerage That Grew.” By Anne Marie Church
With a marketing degree and many years in one facet of the graphics design business or another, Ed Herter will tell you he set up his print brokerage business in Midland Park because ‘everyone needs business cards, right?’ At least that’s how it started but then his satisfied customers began to add to his product list with other requests. So today, he brokers all kinds of printing services, including those business cards from the early days. Ramapo Graphics works with a number of area printers, thus making it possible for Ed to secure the very best prices. His services include letterhead, signs, labels, etc. To this day, he is always amazed at how many rubber stamps he sells. Ed will tell you, too, that customer service is his primary business, because it has assured him a loyal client base year after year and Ramapo Graphics is still growing. |

Mediation Worx, Really! By Anne Marie Church
You’d think that 35 years in litigation is a pretty significant career for an attorney. But, it wasn’t enough for Tom Hanrahan, Esq., when he realized not everyone enjoyed being in court like he didespecially the defendants. Being a thoughtful guy, he looked around for ways to make a difference in the resolution of contentious disputes. His research led him to found Mediation Worx, after he received his training and accredited as a professional mediator. Already, he has been in practice for seven years, specializing in Business/Employment Dispute resolution and private conflict management.
Mediation Worx is committed to the principles of fairness and impartiality, supplemented by a big dose of common sense. One of the reasons Mediation Worx is so much in demand is Tom Hanrahan’s skill at being the ‘third eye.’ He is able to help disparate parties come to a meeting of the minds. It is this fresh, outside perspective, combined with his talent for helping people work together, that has been the foundation of the company’s success. Fostered by its founder’s talents and his belief in the power of the process to make lives happier, the mission of Mediation Worx is to help resolve controversy and avoid expensive litigation. Tom Hanrahan’s clients are case studies that prove it really ‘worx.’
Please note: Tom is accredited by the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM); and approved by NJ Superior Court.

Andy Washnik, CORPRICOM

Andy demonstrated how the dynamics of our LeTip is somewhat similar to juggling. While juggling one club from hand to hand, Andy mentioned how his business was doing ok. He then added a second club to the routine and pointed out how quickly the dynamics of his business changed once LeTip entered his life. He then added a third club, again calling upon the symbolism of new people joining the group and how the group dynamics plays such a vital roll in the success of LeTip!! |
